The Miller Markowicz Team was built from two very different journeys that ultimately led to the same place: a deep passion for New York City real estate — from the brownstones of the West Village and the co-ops of the Upper East Side to the towers of Downtown Brooklyn and the waterfront lofts of DUMBO — meaningful client relationships, and a belief that success comes from never stopping the pursuit of growth.
For Andreea Miller, New York began with a leap of faith.
Born and raised in Botosani, Romania, she moved to New York City in 2008 without knowing a single person. Like so many great New York stories, hers began with courage, reinvention, and relentless determination. Her first job in the city was at The Centurion — the iconic luxury condominium on Central Park South designed by I.M. Pei. It was there, surrounded by extraordinary architecture, design, and the energy of Manhattan real estate, that she fell in love with both the city and the industry. In 2011 she moved into real estate sales, and she has worked in the New York City market ever since.
New York quickly became home. Andreea spent nearly a decade living in the West Village, immersed in the charm of historic townhouses and downtown living, before eventually planting roots in a high-rise condominium in Downtown Brooklyn. Her formal background in mathematics, computer science, and finance gives her a rare analytical edge in one of the world's most data-driven real estate markets — she approaches pricing, negotiation, and market positioning with the precision of a quantitative analyst and the instincts of someone who has lived through New York's cycles firsthand.
A lifelong student, Andreea is deeply committed to personal growth and leadership. She regularly attends women's leadership and entrepreneurship seminars and invests in globally recognized programs such as Ultra Speaking, reflecting her belief that growth, learning, and self-improvement are never-ending pursuits.
For Steven Markowicz, service has always been at the center of everything.
Raised in Westchester, New York, Steven attended the University of Delaware, where he studied Luxury Hotel & Restaurant Management. That education evolved into a career in luxury hospitality, managing some of the world's most recognized hotels, including the legendary St. Regis Aspen, luxury resorts in Hawaii, and ultimately The Palace Hotel New York.
Hospitality shaped Steven's philosophy: anticipate needs before they arise, sweat the details, communicate thoughtfully, and curate experiences that people remember long after the transaction ends.
In 2013, he transitioned into real estate sales, bringing with him a hospitality-driven approach rooted in trust, responsiveness, negotiation, and genuine care for the client experience.
Outside of real estate, Steven's passions are wide-ranging — from pickleball, boxing, basketball, and snowboarding to travel, food, and, most notably, fly fishing — a pursuit that mirrors much of his professional mindset: patience, preparation, adaptability, and understanding that timing and strategy matter.
After working closely together for five years, Andreea and Steven formally launched The Miller Markowicz Team, combining their complementary strengths, shared values, and collective expertise to better serve both longtime clients and new relationships alike.
Today, alongside Lauren Devine, their indispensable team coordinator and assistant, this three-person team has become a collaborative powerhouse in Manhattan and Brooklyn real estate — blending strategic guidance, elevated marketing, operational excellence, analytical insight, and deeply personalized service. Together, they have closed over 200 transactions across Manhattan and Brooklyn — including more than 20 at 11 Hoyt Street alone — spanning condos, co-ops, townhouses, and rentals from Williamsburg to the Upper East Side.
Their growth has been remarkable. Since December 2025, The Miller Markowicz Team has ranked among Corcoran's Top 25 agents in five of the last six months — an achievement they view not simply as a milestone, but as a reflection of the trust, loyalty, and partnership they share with their clients.
But for them, the story has never been solely about rankings or transactions.

Meet the Team
Andreea Miller
Co-Founder & Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker
Andreea Miller is a co-founder of The Miller Markowicz Team at Corcoran and has worked in New York City real estate since 2011. Consistently recognized among The Corcoran Group's Top 25 and ranked in the top 1.5% of agents nationwide by RealTrends, she is known for reading market data closely and translating it into a clear, defensible strategy — bringing a sense of calm to transactions that rarely feel calm on their own.
A formal background in mathematics, computer science, and finance gives Andreea a genuine analytical edge in one of the world's most data-driven markets. She treats pricing as an evidence problem rather than a matter of opinion, and clients consistently describe her as the person who explains not just what a number is, but why it is defensible. In negotiation she is measured and exceptionally well prepared, which is usually what decides the outcome.
That rigor is paired with a refined eye. Guided by a deep interest in art, architecture, and design, Andreea reimagines each listing visually — shaping staging, photography, and marketing that speak to discerning buyers rather than simply documenting rooms. It is a rare combination: the same person building the pricing analysis is the one shaping how the home is presented.
Andreea is a building specialist at 11 Hoyt in Downtown Brooklyn, where she lives and has completed more than 20 transactions. With over 40 transactions across Downtown Brooklyn, her other specialty areas include Manhattan and Brooklyn townhouses and Upper East Side co-ops and condominiums.
Steven Markowicz
Co-Founder & Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
A native New Yorker, Steven Markowicz is a co-founder of The Miller Markowicz Team at Corcoran and has worked in New York City real estate since 2013. He came to the business from luxury hospitality — managing the St. Regis in Aspen, resorts in Hawaii, and ultimately The Palace Hotel New York — where he learned a service philosophy built on anticipation, discretion, and seamless execution. That philosophy still defines how he works.
Steven is known for a steady, thoughtful presence and for guiding clients through complicated decisions without adding pressure to them. Whether he is advising a first-time buyer, a longtime owner, or an investor, he prioritizes clear communication, honest counsel, and follow-through — and he is candid when the answer is not the one a client was hoping for.
In negotiation that same temperament is an asset. He arrives prepared, reads the other side accurately, and holds a position calmly, which is more often decisive than volume. Clients who have been through a difficult transaction with him tend to come back for the next one.
Steven specializes in condominiums and townhouses across Downtown Brooklyn, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, DUMBO, and Boerum Hill, with extensive transaction experience throughout Manhattan as well. Outside of real estate he is a fly fisherman, a pickleball and basketball player, and a lifelong student of anything that rewards patience and timing.
Together, Andreea and Steven bring nearly three decades of combined experience in Manhattan and Brooklyn real estate. Working alongside Lauren Devine, their team coordinator, they have closed more than 200 transactions — including over 20 at 11 Hoyt alone — and have ranked among Corcoran's Top 25 agents in five of the last six months.
